 Mindset is key to success and Napoleon Hill continuously conveys this message throughout his amazing book. Napoleon stresses the importance of a creating money conscious mindset. He also shed light on the different ways that one can be rich. Yes you can be rich in wealth, but you can also be rich in relationships, rich in health, rich in knowledge and so much more. If you’re looking for a motivating book that will help develop a money conscious mindset then Think and Grow Rich is a must read.

Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin

Vicki Robin is an absolute legend in the realm of personal finance and financial freedom. For many personal finance bloggers she is a huge inspiration including us. Grant Sabatier from Millennial Money often talks about Vicki being his huge inspiration. In Your Money or Your Life Vicki Robin breaks down her 9 step plan that will transform your relationship with money and help you achieve financial freedom. One of my favorite things about this book is the countless testimonials throughout the book of people who have had great success with her program. If financial freedom interests you then definitely add this to your reading list.

The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas Stanley

Have you ever dreamt of becoming a millionaire? In this amazing book Thomas Stanley analyzes 20 years of data collected on real life millionaires. We won’t spoil the book for you but we will say that becoming a millionaire is more tangible than you think. If you thrive to have this kind of wealth then this will be a great read for you. Learning how those before became millionaires will greatly assist you on your journey.

Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke

 Annie Duke is a former world series poker champion. In her book Thinking in Bets she displays the mind set that she uses to make rationalize. Over the course of the book Annie will show you how your personal biases impact a lot of our personal decisions. If you tend to be an indecisive person then this book is for you.

The Thin Green Line by Paul Sullivan

 This book is less popular than most of the books on this reading list, but it’s a definite gem. In The Thin Green Line Paul Sullivan talks about the money secrets/habits of the super wealthy and how they compare to those of less wealth. If wealth interests you then the habits of the wealthy should too. This book provides great insight that you can use to push you to the super wealthy category.

The Richest Man in Babylon by George Clayson

This book is an all time classic and is found on a lot of finance reading lists. The setting of this book is in Ancient Babylon and it’s written in short parables. Throughout the story you will learn simple yet foundational personal finance lessons. For anyone just starting out this is a great book that will open your eyes to key personal finance advice.

Set for Life by Scott Trench

Set for life sets the financial framework necessary to lead you financially free life. In this book, Scott goes back to the basics and discusses the importance of saving and spending. He hits on topics such as real estate, stock market investing and frugality while providing advice on how to improve the level of income your making. Scott provides readers with the formula for financial independence and makes them choose to take action. 

Tribe of Mentors by Timothy Ferriss

Although this is not a book focused on finance, Tribe of Mentors is a compilation of short life advice from some of the most successful people in the world. The questions that Tim asks the interviewees provide the reader with insights on the habits, reading lists, beliefs and values that they live by. If your goal is reach your full potential, then why not mimic those who have done it before you. This book provides an array of useful advice and is a great read for anyone who wants to learn from the best of the best.

The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

Hal Elrod’s personal story is an incredible display of fighting adversity and never giving up. In the Miracle Morning you will learn Hal’s secret formula to crush every morning and be the best version of your self. The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey

Dave Ramsey is a name that money people have heard of when it comes to finance. In this book Dave teaches you the steps to living a completely debt free life. Dave Ramsey is no friend to debt of any kind. After reading this book you may reconsider your opinion of debt all together. Although we are not huge fans of Dave Ramsey he is extremely successful and it’s important to understand all perspectives.

Crushin It! By Gary Vaynerchuck

If your on instagram or twitter than you’ve probably heard of Gary Vaynerchuck. Gary is a self made entrepreneur who prides himself on his work ethic. In his book Crushing It! Gary will challenge your work ethic and spark some motivation. If your interested in entrepreneurship then I’d definitely recommend this book.

The Book On Rental Property Investing By Brandon Turner

Brandon Turner is the host of the Bigger Pockets podcast and a financially free real estate investor. In this book Brandon outlines every single step in rental property investing. This book is a great read for anyone looking to get into real estate.

The 4-Hour Work Week By Timothy Ferris

In this book Tim Ferris shows you how to automate your business so your are less involved. Tim uses real life examples to show you the steps to create a more passive business. If your a business owner and feel like your work consumes you then this is a must read.

168 Hours By Laura Vanderkam

If you’ve ever felt like you just don’t have enough time then we highly suggest reading this book. Laura really breaks down how much time we actually have, but it’s what we choose to do with our time that restricts us. Never Split The Difference By Chris Voss with Tahl Raz

Chris Voss is an ex FBI hostage negotiator. In his book Chris reflects on his life experiences and how he was able to negotiate with success in some of the most stressful situations. As he is telling his story he shares strategies that can be used in everyday negotiating. I would recommend this book to everyone, it’s a really fun read and it provides you with tools that you can implement in your life. 

Financial Freedom by Grant Sabatier

Grant Sabatier is an author as well as a blogger. Be sure to check out his blog at millennialmoney.com. In his newly released book Grant gives you the full breakdown of the major factors that are involved in financial freedom. He then gives you advice on how to optimize these factors. If financial freedom is something that you truly desire then you definitely want to give this book a read.
