Let’s walk through an example that will show you why it is worth shopping through Ebates.
Your sitting at home watching TV and decide that you want to do some online shopping. Naturally, you go to a site such as amazon, search for your product, make the transaction and your done. Unfortunately you’ve never heard of Ebates and you miss out on FREE cash back.
If you were a member of Ebates you would simply get on the internet, type in ebates.com and login into your account. From here you can select the site that your are planning to purchase from. In this case its amazon, so you select amazon and get redirected to their site and from here its shopping as normal. However this time when you make your purchase you receive the cash back percentage that was displayed on Ebates. (See the picture below for an example)
Let’s say you purchased a new tv that was $1,000. If you didn’t purchase through Ebates you receive $0 cash back, but if you did purchase through Ebates you’d receive up to 5% cash back from that purchase. If you purchase qualifies for the full 5% then you would receive $50 cash back. Now, I don’t know about you but I’ll take $50 over $0 any day of the week.
